Barnegat Bay at 34 knots....

We had the good fortune to check out our friend's well-found St Francis over the weekend. Despite the winds, we threw in a couple of reefs and shook out the winter cobwebs on Barnegat Bay.

The boat was stable like Gibraltar, and yet agile and balanced. I rarely get out in winds over 30. I would not hesitate in that boat though. Also, she goes to weather significantly better than expected.

As a bonus, we got to crawl all over their other multi - Skateaway. If Ferrari made a trimaran, I imagine it would have similar characteristics. The culmination of one family's lifetime building and racing multihulls....
