Captain sign off

Greetings catamaran people. We have just purchased our first boat and need captain sign off for our insurance. We are based in S Florida. Any recommendations for a captain, coach or teacher greatly appreciated

Snore (member of this Forum) is a 100-ton master, ASA instructor and can teach you on your own boat.

His contact details are part of his member profile. He's based in St.Pete's.

Good luck and congrats on your new boat!

Warmly,

Re: Captain sign off

Gone With The Wynns had to do the same thing when they purchased their Leopard 43 in S. Fla about 5 years ago. They are YouTubers and filmed the process. They had no sailing experience at all so the process of taking the classes and passing the ASA tests took around 5 days. Their captain stayed with them on the boat during that time and signed them off and they were good to go. Maybe that captain is still providing that service. Anyway those vids are informative.
They must have learned something because they are in New Zealand now.

Good Luck!
