Caretakers in San Francisco Bay Area?

Hi Again - any recommendations for a care taker in the San Francisco Bay area? Given the late start getting out of Hawaii we may postpone the sail down the Cali coast to Baja until after the stormy season, in that case looking at options for keeping our boat in the bay area.

Note we had a great care taker in Tahiti (Adrian at Marina Taina is a god-send if you are looking for someone) and then a really bad one in Honolulu so I'm really hoping to find someone more like Adrian in Cali: regular visits, thorough logs, understanding of the systems we have on board, etc.

Thanks!

You could put an ad in Latitude 38, and see if someone comes forward. It may not be easy to find somewhere to tie it up, that's a very big boat footprint. Good luck with it.

Another idea... There are a couple good sailing schools in Sn Francisco Bay. You might try calling them. A great place to find a lot of people (instructors) who know their stuff and might be welcoming a a bit of extra cash.

OCSC in Berkeley, and Club Nautic in Alameda have large diverse staff and one of them can surely help.

Drop me an email at gryan004@yahoo.com, I have a couple of recommendations for people that I have direct experience with. Also, where do you plan to keep the boat?
