Cat Dock in Sydney ?

Can anyone recommend a good marina for a 60' catamaran in Sydney. Preferably downtown/in an area with good restaurants etc etc Price less important than location (for a client, not for me!)

Superyacht marina, Roselle. Bring your money with ya.
Close to city by taxi. Has good resturant. Close to Balmain/glebe etc

Would your client anchor out or is a marina berth essential?

For example, they could anchor in the bay not 100 metres from the Superyacht Marina.

Just a thought.

I don't think there is much private space there. Although the finger wharfe where Foxtel used to be seems to have boats...

The way the state govement is at the moment you could dock anywhere if you are prepared to pay.
There are a lot of private wharfs around there so you could find something.

You could anchor in Farm Cove right next to the Opera House and stay there for ever. The problem is that it is very rocky and rolly with all the ferries etc.

In the bay near the Super yacht marina a lot less traffic. Almost as close as Darling Harbour.

Darling Harbour , if you can get a berth is still pretty rolly with the "traffic".

Seems like the OP is over this thread anyway !!!
