Catana 50 vs Catana 522 Caligo

Hi

I have the opportunity to purchase one of these boats. I wonder if any Catana experts here can tell me the practical differences between boats. I appreciate one is pre and another is post Poncin takeover, but I am not sure of the material effects of this.

I have been told the 50 is a heavy boat but the 522 seems equally heavy. Is there any difference in sailing capability between them.
