Cheap cats in Polynesia

My partner and I are interested in learning more about budget catamarans; think used, cheap, Wharram Tiki 38,46 or Pahi 42 or maybe other boats that would fall into that kind of price range. Definitely don't want a modern wedding cake type boat but they would be out of our price range anyway. Perhaps some of the old classics. Must be properly blue water capable.

We are currently in the Gambiers will be in the Eastern Tuamotus for the rest of this month then Tahiti for a couple weeks before flying out for some work and visa reasons returning September.

Interested in looking over any cat that people think may fall into that kind of price range. It doesn't have to be for sale but if your willing show us your home we'd be grateful.

We have a high latitude ready steel trireme 35 to exchange if you looking at venturing further south to say the Patagonian channels or further.

Fairly open minded - suggestions please; thanks for reading so far.

dont know if it helps but we used to see small cheap cats frequently turn up on Petite Annonces when we were in FP:

Thanks I'll have a look. Although we are not necessarily looking for something for sale. More boats to have a look at.

Perhaps Wharram owners are not very internet connected None of the forums are very active. Perhaps they have all gone sailing

Some of us are, but not in the right part of the world - Northern Baltic, Gulf of Finland!
