+3 on it being a Piver and at 36' +2 on it possibly being a Lodestar.

Well, not a lodestar. Wrong length and wrong beam. Doubt liver ever designed a boat 38' by 24' the victories at 40' was - 22' beam

Interesting thread mates, I think this 35' Alloy Cat would be be a good buy and...she's in Australia As I know nothing about Alloy built vessels I was wondering, what are the pros and cons for a Alloy built vessel
What questions would you ask the seller if you were to inquire about this Cat and what would you be looking for if doing a inspection before calling in a surveyor

How about this one?
I'm not sure it's suitable for a live-aboard.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

You'd have to be a serious minimalist! There is a guy that supposedly lives on a Tiki 21 with his wife and son in Brazil on the Wharram forums. This would surely suit a couple using that standard.

DID you buy it? I see your boat is for sale. If so good luck with it --its a huge task.

We didnt buy it, too much work for the price and questionable history. Ours is not currently on the market but there might be an old ad for it around somewhere and a video on youtube. Two others for sale one is Nauticat, a 1995 and another is a 96 or 98 i think just sold. We've decided until the right deal pops up or owners/ brokers get realistic (yeah right) were holding onto ours as she is nicer than most cats 50-75k more.
