The boats under contract pending survey seatrial, its not in florida it in the carolinas. If the deal doesnt conclude as is at its listed price she will then bring to Florida. If it goes.back on the market in a week id be very interested in whats wrong. We passed on a privelege39 even cheaper than that one.

The owner is a nice guy so I don't want to bash. I will say that any of these older boats ( and this goes for monos too,) if there are tons of window and hatch leaks that have lead to mold and mildew in, soaked mattresses, soft areas around inspection ports, deck hardware not sealed well, then there is most likely.much bigger issues. We would have passed at 50.k as I am not sure we could have repaired all the delam and wet wood. We also looked at a prout escale.that had started at 134 k, dropped to 109, we withdrew our offer of 60k after we discovered what was really wrong. I love the big privileges, we still would like one, I think w any boat its how has she been maintained that counts.

If the link for the Searunner 34 doesn't work then...

Try this:

Or this:

I've made an unexpected trip to this part of the state and would be available to inspect this vessel for anyone interested in the next few days.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

Asking price of $115k. I don't think that boat is ready for a cruise yet and don't think it has actually sailed since the big refit. It needs some final touches. It's all here and 94 pics!

This boat needs a fair amount of work by someone who knows what they're doing with wood and epoxy. It certainly doesn't fit my description of restored.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

The problem with roomarans, like Horstmans, is that they sail like dogs.

Please, most endeavourcats, victorycats, lagoons etc will outperform the average monohull and even some "performance" boats... we had our endeavourcat30 up 11.5 knots surfing, 10. Knots reaching and 8 knots close hauled. Or is everything thats not a open bridgedeck perf cat a "roomaran " to you??

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

That Horstman has daggerboards. It might sail decently.
