I heard Malihini sold for 30K. It actually had a fair bit wrong with it and it was bit of a project. Too bad it sold as I wanted big time.

I like the look of Shuttleworth's boats. I have plans for a Wharram, that I was going to modify over the years, but his plans look like exactly what I was working towards.

Wonder if you could build a 35 with ply/epoxy?

Insanity really. Must have been the fact it was unseaworthy and quite a distance upwind to anywhere that does haulouts and sells boat stuff. Still I would have taken on the challenge. It had broken off its mooring and gone ashore and had 2 broken rudders, plus a list of other stuff needing attention so I believe.
