Maybe you would prefer to call it a derrick? In any case, the PO bought the boom from me and I can honestly attest you have a really nice boom.

Re: Cheap Multis and Projects

That trimaran was offered at $4000 or $5000 last fall. I corresponded by email a few times with the seller, but it all fizzled out because whenever I asked when and how I should come look at it, I got no reply. Also, I knew I really shouldn't saddle myself with a big project, so I let it go. But maybe someone in the mood for it could clean her up nice.

Here are the few responses I did get to various questions:

Original date of construction was 1979. It was fully rebuilt in 1999. It was built with epoxy. There are several “soft spots on the hulls that will require patch work. The boat has been in dry dock for about 8 years and cost of storage is $200 per month. Trailer is included in the price. Trailer will need new tires.
-------------

My Dad built it with some professional helping. It was the first of 28 Tris that he built. I have the original plans. It’s a “Cross 26 Trim Tram” designed by Arthur Piver. The re-build in 1999 was a professional team.

-------------

It’s 36’ long and it’s 24’ wide. Anything I got regarding the name was from a box of plans I located in my dad’s attic yesterday.

38' Cruising Sailing Catamaran--project boat

A center cockpit catamaran.
It's a STEAL. ...Okay, so that's what the owner says.

Looks like it could be a good boat. Seems like a Searunner 40 missing the middle hull?

Looks good to me too. Almost like a Lock Crowther design. Anyone know anything about it?

Project 34 ft Catamaran

This one's a real charmer! And, it's only 13 bucks! Why, the toilet in the middle of the saloon is worth $15 at least!
From the mind of one of the world's greatest designers (fashion), this one should not be missed!

That one looks like it was framed up by a house carpenter, a little brother to the Flyin' Hawaian.
