FYI HopCat, HomeDepot is shipping us the 600 psi by Friday. It seemed the best route based on Ryobi buy in and our current needs (it's surprisingly messy up here on the Great Lakes... the salt was easy compared). The seperate pumps were also great ideas that We'll keep in our backpocket on our way back south and east.

Re: Cordless Boat Washoff options?

OK, interim review is that the Ryobi PW'er is a tentative winner. Long term we do want to install a boat wash. But for right now, on Lake Michigan, it appears to work pretty good.

Not a lot of power, but it's pulling water from the lake and we only tried up to bridge deck, not top. I was a PITA to prime, but we tried having a bucket nearby if it was bucking up and it did prime itself and we would then drop it back in the lake. 2 batteries pretty much washed off a 40ft cat, so optimistic. Again, not salt water or brackish. And it's not a sure fire solution, but for the price and seeing we're in the Ryobi 18vt tool farm, it works for us.

We do look fwd to trying on anchor rode, it does give us a decent degree of flexibility.

Good to hear. I’m debating getting this mainly for washing off the anchor. The main spots we frequent is a muddy bottom so it would be nice to get that off first.

LetterKenny... agreed. We don't have a watermaker... yet, nor a washoff pump.. again yet.

But, at least @ this early juncture, it appears like it'll be a handy, flexible addition; taking up little space; and in boat terms, not alot of $$$
