Cruiser racer multihull <50.000

Just a quickie,
Been doing some research but wanted to ask opinions on what would be a perfect blue water cruising multihull, around 40 ft or less which could also enter offshore races, for example the carribean 600 or fastnet etc. etc. obviously haven't got the money for a gun boat, but seeing the start of the c600 yesterday here in Antigua has made me want a multihull again. Used to own a wharram tiki 26 but I'm looking for more performance

Have a look at Dazcat in UK.

They do well in all multihull races there.

Are you looking for something less than 50k in price? In general, cats with daggerboards are usually performance oriented. Outremer, Schionning designs like the G-Force, Fastcat, Gunboat, Katana. Some of the Fountaine Pajot's move along ok, but aren't known for being race boats. Lots of one-off designs are racer-cruisers. But under 50K? Not likely. If you want to go really fast, you'll want to pick up one of these: . Runs right up around 59 knots (75MPH). Not much room for carrying gear.

Been looking at day at, and of course all the farrier designs, my budget isn't huge I know, not sure if the misses will like living in a pod on the side of that sail rocket. Pretty sure the old dazcat paradox is the same team racing as paradox in this years c600 on a 60tri. Being blue water capable is very important to me

Check out designs by Malcolm Tennant and Derek Kelsall. A little cheaper than the other designs noted above but have the performance you want.
