Cruising Hawaii

Ahoy Mates and Aloha from Hawaii. I just stumbled across the web site tonight and was anxious to say hello. If your planning on cruising Hawaiian waters I'll be happy to share whatever information I've collected over my 26 years and over 30,000 miles of inter-island cruising. For 14 of those years I've captained my own 48' Nicol Voyager , ketch rigged, trimaran, "Free Spirit" commercially. I specialized in adventure cruising the west coast of the Big Island, North Shore of Molokai, Kauai, Maui's west coast, Kahoolawe, Oahu, Kauai's Napali coast and Niihau. My wife, Ronna, and I recently sold the business and we now gunkhole our Challenger 32 around Oahu and vacation wherever time off the job, the winds and the seas will take us and get us back in time for work.

Sounds like you really have it rough over there trying to make it to work on time.

But really, Welcome aboard! There have been a few requests about the Island recently.

I hope to make a crossing your way on to the S. Pacific some day. Don't know yet. May end up selling and buying in AU and sailing North.
