I have lake sailed a 27 quite a bit. Fun. I think there is a web site called Wild jybe that has to do with Stilettos. You need to check that out.

Sail a Stiletto to Bermuda? I've sailed my Tobago 35 there twice from Rhode Island, and hope to never do it again. From Florida? I don't know, but you'd want the sweetest weather window. Florida to Bimini? The same. After running the stiletto for a decade on a river and lakes, I ended up with fearful respect for the boat. I really think it is too light and too exposed for real offshore sailing. Sorry, maybe I'm a chicken, but one gust and you are permanently over. These beauties are the catsass for coastal and inland sailing, though.

Re: Does Anyone Have Stiletto 27 Experience

Do you still have a S27? Would love your advice on restoring a 70's S27; new canopies, hatches, paint, minor hull damage, etc.

Thanks much,
Jerry
