Drying out in the La Rochelle area.

I'm collecting a cat from La Rochelle, France next month and heading back to the UK. I'm looking for a good place to dry out just North of La Rochelle either on the islands or main land to fit my rope cutters and folding props. I'm trying to avoid spending too many tides observing before committing. Has anyone any first hand experience of good spots? I'm hoping to get a few options so I can choose at the time depending on weather. Thanks.
