Fred

Does anyone know about the Admiral 47? Does it meet the criteria for a good offshore boat. Is it relatively fast or slow all things considered? Would appreciate the feedback.
Thanks and smooth sailin"

Guess that's why they call it an "Owner's" forum, not a shoppers browser.

That is why I made the comment as it won't help Fred either.

Hi Fred:

As the keeper of the Admiral Owners Web Site I would invite you to sign in as an interested party which will allow you to post on the open type sections. The Admiral Owners that are there would be happy to help if they can. Two of them took delivery in Cape Town South Africa in the last several months and crossed the Atlantic. Maybe they can help you with your questions. The site is relatively new and most interactions are owners helping owners work with the factory, take delivery and discuss maintenance and options. We also intended that it be a place where prospective owners could ask current owners questions.

You will find many opinions from all over the place on any Cat and these opinions can be extreme so figure out whats important to you and make your decisions from there.

I personally do not know what an Admiral 47 is. On the member site we have owners of the 38, 41 and an owner of a 50.

Good Luck in your search.
