from sailing cat to power cat (remove mast)

Hi folks,

I'm thinking about removing the mast & rigging on my sailing cat, because for my type of usage it will make more sense...

Now my question is:
Shall I remove the keels as well? Will I save significantly on fuel for long passages?

Thank you for your opinion.

Re: from sailing cat to power cat (remove mast)

The keels do offer protection for the rudders and saildrives if fitted.
