Gemini leg

Does anyone know of a resource for repair and parts for the Sillette drive leg?
Has anyone replaced their inboard and leg with an outboard and what advice do you have?

Re: Gemini leg

I wish the Gemini had been designed outboards in wells under the stern steps. I would be more likely to buy one.

Re: Gemini leg

A boat neighbor of mine with a Gemini 105 was recently able to get repair parts from England. He said someonme had revived the line of parts. Unfortunately, he is now working in Alaska and unable.

However, I found a web site for Sillette Marine. Could that company be it?

Re: Gemini leg

Glen Print at Sillette in the UK is the son of the inventor and supplier of all parts - except that they have stopped making any new , new parts so its what they have left in stock

Re: Gemini leg

I just had our Sillette Sonic mk2 leg fail on our 1986 Fisher 32 cat. Pulling it off and opening it up to see what the damage is. These are cool drives, but also worried about limited parts availability.

Anyone know if there are and replacement options on the market? Extend some kind of off-the-shelf outdrive? thoughts?
