Haul out in Florida or Georgia. Yard allowing Owner to work on boat

Dear Sailing Community:
I am looking for facilities that can haul a sailing catamaran 25'-3" on the beam. Prefer Florida or Georgia, would consider anything east coast that allows owner to do some work. Thanks.

Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive, is Safe Harbor's Lauderdale Marine Center. They can easily handle the beam (I think their max is 34.5 feet) they are home base for Multitech, so if you need contractor help it's available, and DIY is fine as long as you follow the safety and environmental rules. The local marine supply chain around Fort Lauderdale is very impressive, so spare part logistics is way better than almost anywhere else on the East Coast.

Port Canaveral has a DIY yard too.

There is St. Mary's Boat Services...in St. Mary's Georgia of course !

And there are 3 different yards in Green Cove Springs. Holland Marine prefers boats 40' and up, and Reynolds is next door but they are mostly storage, they have limitations on DIY stuff.

Green Cove Springs Marina has both long term non working storage and a DIY yard.

In Georgia, consider Thunderbolt Shipyard. They can handle anything you throw at them. They are just outside of Savannah.

Safe Harbor Lauderdale Marine Center, on the South Fork of the New River, has 5 Hoists/Lifts [up to 485 tons], including, a 145-ton lift, specifically for Catamarans.
However, I didn’t think [I may be wrong] that they allow Do It Yourself. ➥ https://safeharbor.directory/

Playboy Marine [Do It Yourself Boat Repair Facility], on the Dania Cut-Off Canal, in Dania Beach has a 93 ton Marine Travelift, that can handle sail or power boats, from 27 ft up to 80 ft in length, but with a maximum beam of only 20 ft.

Having been to lauderdale marine center many times, diy is most certainly allowed. You might not have the equipment to legally do bottom sanding, but if you really need to do that yourself, you can rent the gear locally.

Playboy the same, but they can’t haul a large cat. Not even close.
