Helia swim platform

Retrofitting Helia 44 with a hydraulic swim platform like the new Sanoa 47 - possible?

I would imagine it would be possible to buy the lifting mechanisms from FP and then custom build a shorter platform to put between them. My guess is the limiting factor is if the Saona has reinforcements behind the transom attachment points, and if so... can the Helia be reinforced in the same area in a similar way. It certainly looks like the Helia mold has space for the lifting mechanisms. they might overhang a bit and that constant exposure might be bad long term.

The platform is $30k on the boat it was designed for. It would be a significant roll of the dice to try it a la carte on the Helia. My guess is that the Saba will get and "Evo" refresh soon (though it needs one less than the original Helia did) and that the lifting platform will be an optional upgrade offered on the entire fleet eventually.

The hydraulic swim platform/davits are already available as an option on the SABA ~$32K.
