Bondage is the answer. They put up with straps in the galley and straps in the bunks so why not just strap yourself to that bench seat. Maybe throw in a whip, some leather chaps and a vest too.

That bench would be a great idea with the ends sweeping gently up. I have seen helmsmans positions like that before......

Yes, then she could comfortably sit on the guy’s lap and the Admiral would be going bananas.

Look, that’s a perfectly good park bench they’ve stolen and they obviously have enough room for it aft. What’s definitely missing are a coffee table and a good table lamp. This is clearly the future of monohull sailing. All we need now are large sliding doors, in order to get below.
