Hi All,

3 boats from our multihull club competed in the WA 360 Race this past June. Each of these teams will present their take on the race next Tuesday, with Q&A. The WA360 race was a replacement for last year's R2AK. R2AK was cancelled due to the Canada Covid border closure. The WA360 is a ~360 mile race around Puget Sound in Washington state, without the use of engines. Everyone is invited, you don't need to be a member, just show up in person at Seattle's Puget Sound Yacht Club, or on Zoom.

Our club is a mixture of factory and home built, small and cruising multihulls with a strong presence of Farrier/Corsair trimarans. If you are local and interested in Multihulls, cruising or racing with us, we'd love to meet you and help you get involved with these great boats. Here's the announcement. I hope you can drop in.

7:00 - Club meeting

7:30 - Presentation: “WA360 or GOTTERDAMMERUNG? - You Decide”. A one part miniseries about the highs and lows of adventure racing. Northwest Multihull Association presents a free roaming conversation between several club members/competitors who participated in the 2021 WA360 Race. Team Vis Viva (Seawind 24 catamaran), Team Free Narwal (Farrier 32 trimaran) and Team Ruf Duck (Farrier F9R Trimaran).



Discussion will include a general description of the race, race day comparisons, team conclusions/reflections and general answers to questions like "How useful was that aluminum Fortress anchor that Vis Viva bought at the NWMA auction?" and "Was Team Free Narwhal carrying the NWMA Calibrated Speed Orb? Why did Team Free Narwal make so many bad choices, were they trying to lose?” and "Why did Team Ruf Duck decide to bring the Grail Knight?"



Welcome to our Northwest Multihull Association monthly meeting! We will meet in person at Puget Sound YC. Also we’ll be online using Zoom from 6:30 onward, zoom info is at end of email. If anyone has more equipment for live events + Zoom, we welcome your assistance.



Only those who are fully vaccinated should attend in person (or those who had a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours before arriving at the club). Masks are required indoors except when eating or drinking. The room is well ventilated with several windows and doors.
