Looking for an Agent/Broker to buy our next boat

Dear All,

We are a family of 5 living in Australia and with the big plan to sail around the world in a catamaran leaving Europe by mid 2021.

For that matter we are looking to find an agent or broker to help up find/negociate/purchase this boat (most probably in the Med), as much of this will happen remotely for us.

Happy for anyone to share experience (good or bad), lessons learned and contacts if you have some.

Look at yachtworld.com and find out about typical broker in croatia and greece. One of them f.e.: croatia.boatshed.com. Talk to the charter companies who are selling their boats out typically at the end of the season.

Make sure, you pay your tax in Australia if you want to avoid european VAT.

here Boats For Sale and Wanted - Cruisers & Sailing Forums and talk directly to the Owners might be willing to sell what You need.
