nearly worked myself to a standstill

aft cabin furniture ....finished

chainplate base re-inforcement....... finished.(backstays,shrouds,running backstays

genoa tracks and cars......finished

midship cleats......nearly finished

will start getting the stainless chainplates cut out tomorrow

not that much to photograph though will try take some shots and post asap

I wasn't buying it, was working on someone else's boat, but it was a timber supplier near Caboolture.

I'll try to remember to ask. We were using 12mm. But pretty sure 10mm was available too.

316 stainless chainplates cut out with the water blaster , bent and drilled out for countersunk bolts.

starting to polish with soap and mop ,after giving a light going over with 120 grit disc.

so far so good

I'm happy with the result,apart from the cover plates for the shroud chain plates on the deck, the slots were cut too long,and will have to make up new ones

aft cabins finished for the moment,untill the toe rail is installed.
will start machining the rubbing strake timber next week

also installed midships deck cleats,and the genoa tracks

I do hope them chainplays are strong enuf housed, and won't play any. Chain plays mounting always makes me shiver my tail when I look at em.
