Multihull Production Numbers

I guess it's time to start a new thread about total production numbers by all the manufacturers including tris. Specifically I'm looking for total units built to date and total units built or projected to be built this year. Lagoon used to have a really cool archive page that listed the production run every every specific model so if we can get this for everybody then that would be great.
This is not about which cat is better, faster, prettier etc. It's just the facts ma'am and nothing but the facts.
Here's my old thread for reference.

Re: Multihull Production Numbers

I see there is a 2019 Gemini #1227 for sale so that's a start. They started new numbering for the power cats. Perhaps someone can confirm.

See the last post in the thread. They updated until a few years ago. I posted the newer results in a different thread in the Lagoon forum I think. I had to use the Waybackmachine to search for that.

Re: Multihull Production Numbers

Here's that page from September 2017. They say this page covers former models so current models like the 450 aren't listed but the 380 is so there's some discrepancy. Click on the models and it will show you the specs and units made.

Re: Multihull Production Numbers

Cool info. I have a lagoon 42 tpi , so it's interesting finding out production info.
Thanks for that!
Thread drift... have you ever found Polars for Tpi's? That's one thing I've never been able to track down

Re: Multihull Production Numbers

Seawind says on their website that Corsair has built over 2500 boats. I suspect quite a few of these were not really what most of us would call cruisers because of their smaller lengths but that's still an impressive number. That 1600 was originally a Corsair I think but only a few were built. Is it still a Corsair? Unfortunately Seawind does not say how many cats they have built.

The first Gemini built was hull #101 not 01 so need to subtract 100 of the last hull number Gemini built to get the correct count of actual Gemini’s produced.

Re: Multihull Production Numbers

Thanks SMJ. I noticed a Gem Frestyle hull in the 100s and I didn't think they had made that many so we know how that works now.

Catana says over 650 "models" built. Don't know if that includes Bali.

Corsair made the Corsair 51 catamaran, but i dont think more than two were made. The Seawind 1600 - 52 ft cat - is a newer model built by Seawind. The Corsairs are typically the trailerable trimarans, and the Seawinds are the catamarans. Although Seawind made some beach cats. I do know that Seawind made over 200 of the Seawind 1000 catamarans. And my 2019 Seawind 1160 Lite completed in Dec 2018 was hull number 506, and a friends new 1260 that came out a month or so later was 512. I dont know when that numbering started.

Thanks Juman. So is that 512 boats total for all models combined?
