New(er) Models available for viewing CA or FL? (TX?)

So the wife and I finally have some free time at the same time and want to view a few 40-45' cats together. (She's never been available at boat show time).

Wondering.....

Who's got models to view on West Coast? (FP, Lagoon, Leopard)
Florida?
Texas? FP dealer down that way right?

Any suggestions would be appreciated....

The only way to see all the new Catamarans in one trip and in one location is to go to one of the Large boat shows.

In the States the two biggest Catamaran shows are Annapolis and Miami.

Spend a few days at one and by the end of your trip, One Catamaran will bubble up to the top as the best Catamaran for you and your wife.

You can waste a lot of time and money going to one or two boat showings and still not find the ONE.

There are a lot of new model catamarans that just came out in the last few years.

Not looking to see all at once. Although that would be nice, I've done that. Now looking to get the wife on a few and was wondering if there are dealers/brokers/etc out there that might have some in stock that I could get and show the wife around. Give her a feel if you will ;-)

Anyways, thanks for the reply.

Try the Catamaran Company. They send me an email every week (I think) with their stock

You can try Marine Servicecenter in Seattle/Anacortes:

Current Sail Inventory | Marine Servicenter

Not CA, but they seem to have some Lagoons in stock.

Cheers,

I'm in San Diego. We have found it nearly impossible to view any new cats here. We made the decision to move from San Diego to Florida in May to get a look at a few. Our dream is just one step closer now.

The FP dealer in Texas doesn't keep any cats on hand for viewing and the Lagoon dealer Only had one 42 on its docks the last time we visited.

On the US West Coast, there are a couple of Cat brokerages that stock new and sell used.
West Coast Multihull, sells FP, Seawind, Gemini and Corsair. 1 office in San Diego Shelter island, they have various open houses and put together demo rides. Just had some boats in boat show on Harbor island in Jan. They also have an office in Northern CA. Here is their site:
New Catamarans | New Trimarans | Sailboats for Sale | West Coast MultihullsWest Coast Multihulls

The Catamaran Company also has an office on Shelter island. they have Lagoons and Gemini.

there will be more choice in FL, for sure.

Charter a boat in the BVI and you'll get a chance to see many different cats at the dock. At anchorages, simply dinghy to some boats you're interested in looking at and start a conversation... Works great!

The biggest and best multihull show in the world is in France in April. Here is the web site: | Le salon du multicoque online - Catamarans & Trimarans

My wife and I went to the show last year and it was fantastic. You can check out our video on our youtube channel "iliohale Productions". We flew in from California and arrived on the Friday of the show. Spent the weekend at the show and then trained it up to Paris for the balance of the following week. Great trip.

The Pacific Sail show is taking place in a couple weeks in the Bay area. There may be some there. You can probably find out by going to a website.
