Well that's better. I assume the boom doesn't hit that little canopy over the helm. Looks like a tight fit.

Re: New Neel 60 Trimaran

I wish i could get to see one of these tris. They look quite different to anything else. Only the French i suppose. Not many built only 4 or 5 i heard. The initial concept seems to be ahead of its time. Custom changes apply to any boat. I dont think there is one that has come down to the southern hemisphere.

Re: New Neel 60 Trimaran

That's really strange - it appeared as "Neel 60", "Neel 62", "Neel 65" in different brochures. Does anyone now if any of these beasts were actually built and sold (besides prototype)?

Re: New Neel 60 Trimaran

This is Neel 45 (its quality discussed in other thread and blows my mind), but I'm talking about big one, as advertised at different times - 60, 62 or 65 feet.
After watching story about quality of Neel 45 I wouldn't touch one unless it's priced at scrap value, than it's worth fixing up.

Re: New Neel 60 Trimaran

It certainly would be interesting to talk to an owner of the Neel.
I suppose asking directly to the builders in France would confirm if they built a 60+
I think one of the first Neels was 55ft
