Next step for the aluminium frame is roughening the surface to get a better adhesion with epoxy between the frame and the plywood it will be fixed on

Hi Redreuben,
That design is 20 years old, if I redesigned it now I would have the frames built from fibreglass as the later design are. I wanted to get a consistent result for amateur builders and as the aluminium would have to be TIG welded it would have to be built by an aluminium fabricator, hopefully with consistent results.
