"Re: Ok, This is Pretty Crazy."

Could not agree more (heck I am doing it again), it is obviously not a cruising cat where are its engines to motor 130% of the time. Long narrow hulls, low aspect minimalist accommodation must be one of dem der racing multihulls. Does not deserve page space on a true Cruisers Forum.

I bet this is one thread that will not get a "If they had gone with a mono they could at least point further up the iceberg"

They would be way better off with something with at least standing head room in the saloon like this, plus it obviously has a motor.

Embrace them changes! (WARNING Jazz musician comment, apt to be misunderstood-especially during a cold, wet winter.)

Re: Ok, This is Pretty Crazy.

Seriously, you're supposed to do this with Hobie 16s with stainless keel strips and a few huskies with a support staff flying in refreshments.

Jeff Mcguinness and Mike Bedell did this in 1988 with a hobie 20 ,they trained a little at the Multihull Club in Toronto

Re: Ok, This is Pretty Crazy.

I remember, that is why I suggested the hobie 16 to up the stakes. Losing the daggers has to help in the ice.
