Re: Performance of charter cats?

Any here has experience with dophin cats? older 430 and 460 are vinylester resin, daggerboards, acceptable weight and good interior.
From paper looks like comparable to catana 431 and 471, not suoerfast but reasonably fast....correct?

My friend had a 460, loved it. I personally think they are great boats, but haven’t had the opportunity to sail aboard one yet.

I've been looking at that. If I had spare money and was stupid enough to own two catamarans, I would totally buy this as my Norway boat! It's a good thing I don't have the money, because I am probably stupid enough to own two boats! 😜

It would be a butt puckering ride though, with the gustiness of our fjords and big mountains and the very light weight of the TRT.

We miss our TRT 1200GT. Loved pretty much everything about it.
