Does anyone have the polar for a Leopard 44?

If one doesn't exist is there a standard procedure for making one?

Not really a standard procedure but OpenCPN allows you to generate polars in real world conditions.

The main issue is the wind is never exactly 5, 10, 15, 20 etc. knots and the sea state never the same nor are your sail combinations and loadings so the plots do have some variance as compared to theoretic diagrams produced by designers and manufacturers.

Because of the above it may take a long time to establish a complete polar diagram. If you are diligent and record the variables not given by instrument data you end up with very useful plots related specifically to your boat.

Hello and Happy New Year. I am also looking for the polars for my Leopard 44.

Any luck with finding polars for the 44 or creating through opencpn?

I did find a Leopard 40 online, unfortunately my trips the last year were short coastal hops no good sailing days to make one.
