Prout 50..anyone know how they are?

Hi everyone.

We're interested in the Prout 50 S-the new(er) ones not the old Quasar.

At $500-600k for a 5 year old model, they tick all of our boxes. After a lot of searching we found positive reviews, and info they were built in China but with a Western owned and managed company.

Like this:

So has anyone been on one at a boat show, perhaps sailed on one or know anything more?

Thanks

Re: Prout 50..anyone know how they are?

Know nothing about them but I like the layout and the fact you get island berths.
Instead of the usual crawl-over-the-pillow or crawl-over-the-wife or the dreaded crawl-in-the-foot-of-the-berth-and-pull-the-blanket-over-while-crawling- along sleeping arrangements.

The problem with the fore berths is the they're on the bridge deck level-beware crawling up there after a few wobbly pops.

I really like the prout 50 and looked at buying one a while ago .. the original U.K. Builds were a different layout to the current Thai remake model. An issue with them is low bridgedeck clearance but otherwise a great boat
