recomendations delivery captain caribbean

We are in contract on a 45 ft catamaran and the insurance company will require a licensed skipper for the first 40 hours. To that end we plan to move the boat from Puerto Rico via the Bahamas to Florida, combining some vacation into the delivery. Probably around a month all told. This is way more than the required 40 hours but with the right skipper it should be fun and educational.

To that end we are looking for recommendations for a skipper, if you have an idea what this would cost it would be helpful We have chartering experience on similar boats so we are not complete newbies.

There are a couple delivery skippers who post to this forum who repeatedly post disparaging remarks about the owners and how doing a delivery with a new owner is the worst thing in the world. These are the people we specifically do not want regardless how qualified they are.

The boat is well equipped and if the gods are kind it should be a pleasant experience.
