Seawind 1200

Long time lurking first time posting.
Looking at a purchasing a Seawind 1200 (year build 2004). The vessel requires a bit of work which we don’t mind. It’s has leaking windows and is need of some gel coat repairs. The info I having trouble finding is about the construction method of the decks and hull. I’m told the hulls are solid GRP and the Decks are GRP foam sandwich??
Guess what I’m trying to establish is weather the leaks from windows and the gel coat cracks could have caused damage?
Knowing what the decks are made of would be me understand this better.
I will get a survey done pre purchase but like to also do my own research.
Any other feed back on Seawind 1200 would be appreciated

Have you asked the guys at Seawind/Multihull Central? Check with Brent Vaughan maybe.
I would be guessing that they would have used solid glass below the waterline and a balsa core above and in the decks.
