Seawind 1260 master berth headroom

Does anyone know the headroom on the master berth (not the cabin) on a Seawind 1260? The berth looks a bit squished in under the cabin top and I wonder if it feels claustrophobic in there.

Look at 6:30 of the video below. For my wife and I who are 58 and 51 years respectively it is no issue. We agree that it is a good use of space and enables maintaining the sleek hulls of the boat.

Re: Seawind 1260 master berth headroom

We sailed a 1260 for a week this summer (Sonder, Grenadines) and the headroom in both forward cabins (including the master) was fine for both of us. Plenty of room to sit up comfortably while reading in bed. Not enough to sit bolt upright, but I don't tend to do that from bed... Didn't feel claustrophobic at all, especially with the hatch and natural light just above your head, and the cabin itself being pretty huge. Absolutely love the design, we are actually eyeing an 1160 (same design and dimension master cabin).

I'm 6ft0 btw.

Oh and I think Sailing Ruby Rose covered this in one of their recent 1260 boat reviews (where they lived on the boat). You can youtube it.

I watched the Ruby Rose review of it. My only concern was that he's 5'9" and I'm 6'. Your post answers that. Many thanks!

I agree with prior comments. As long as you don't feel like that's where you want to go sit and read a book, the space is very adequate. There's even enough room for my 65lb dog to stand up and walk around to find a comfy spot.
