SMG 50 A-Frame Mast Setup

Has anyone sailed on or evaluated the A frame sailing setup on SMG50 as a crusing catamaran. It has no daggerboards or minikeels.

The V hulls must help it pointing ability.

The website info is very positive.

Whilst the carbon fibre mast would be more expensive than conventional Al the simpler rig might even up the overall sail rig cost ?? any ideas ?

Simple looks good for inexperienced sailer like me.

Regards

I'm not sure about no dagger boards or mini keels, but the rest looks pretty good.
Being able to roller furl all your sails has got to be nice.
Love the center cockpit.
Maybe a larger rear porch?
I think I like the Chris White Atlantic designs a bit more, but these look great!

There was an SMG50 launched in Cape Town about two years ago with the same carbon rig, I heard that it was R1 000 000. (About $133 000)
