It's an Outremer cat.....are they owned by FP?
No! The only connection between FP and Outremer is that they are both in France.

Delos was in the southern Indian Ocean last year for the second time. Their current videos are a year behind.

Yeah.. that's my bad.. especially as I'd already said it was an Outremer in an earlier post.. its what happens when I get distracted by something else..

Cheap Publicity when you calculate over 12mths of advertising costs.
Grand presentation at handover with TV coverage.. 12mths plus of videos on YouTube etc.. and if they can keep it a Grand Handover of the Deeds.. again well covered.
The boat may sell for close on a million but remember.. that's not cost.
Elayna 10.4 million followers
Riley 0.1 million followers maybe

They have 275K YT subscribers, making them the most successful sail vlog I know of, well deserved IMO. And about 94K on Instagram and 61K on FB.

Where do they have 10.5 million followers...just asking?

I stand corrected.
Elayna 430k followers.
Riley 0 followers.
Thank you for verifying the count. It was just a small exaggeration. All in CF fun.

I reckon you'd be surprised. Yes Elay is the star, but a lot of people especially those that like sailing or are adventurous, like to see Riley and what he get's up to. Notice how at the moment there are a fair few negative comments about vlogs they've been doing, because people want to see Riley's passage rather than Elay play with Abbey.

Just a side note, unless they equipped this thing with way more stuff than is on the order sheet (which could be likely as they will use this as a flagship), this is not close to a $1M boat...you can spec out a very nicely equipped O51 for well under $1M. Regardless it looks gorgeous and I'm super happy for those two, its great to see two people go create their amazing future vs. sit back and gripe about all the obstacles keeping them from doing it.

Remember they are Aussie's. A 2014 14m Outremer sells for just under £450,000 so a new one with all the trimmings is pretty much $1 Aussie.

You are right. If you check youtube nombers you´ll see that the last videos that Riley posted have way more views than Elayna

I just did a Google on how many folks viewed La Vagabonde on YouTube and got back just under 10.5 million..
Sorry if its not a forensic enough search for you..
But it was all the time I cared to devote..

So I guess we can halve that to allow for all the guys going back to 'Lech' the lady..

Interesting thought. Somehow I don't think Captain Brian would entertain it. He researched long and hard before picking his Amel Super Maramu.

It would be interesting for sure. Delos, the boat is getting a bit tired. Delos, the crew may look at the opportunity to try something different. The challenge would be that Delos seems to be more willing than La Vaga to sail into marginal conditions. And that may relate to the boat they sail.
