Re: Trampolines

We recently replaced the tramp on our Bahia. We also used Sunrise and went with the knotless dynema. We easily installed it ourselves with no problem and although we have had to re-tension it a few times (as expected), no dramas there either. We are in New Zealand so we thought perhaps it was a bit of a risk going with a company so far away but can happily report the we have nothing but praise for the product and the service provided by Sunrise. All we had to do was confirm their template measurements and the fit is perfect. The dynema is easy to walk on and we feel very safe with it.

Cheers
Lisa

Re: Trampolines

Thanks everyone for the replies. Now we are torn between the dynema and the polyester offshore netting. Here's how it seems to look to me: the dynema lets more water through hence less chance of ripping with head waves. I am still concerned about how to repair the dynema if it rips. The small piece we bought here in Georgetown to last till we get back ripped and anything you use to tie it back together rips the strands of the net. Maybe there is a way that is better for repair.
The polyester netting is something we have had on the boat and we like it as it is comfortable but it did degrade. The vinyl would help but it does seem sticky.
Maybe we will have to look at cost next and warranty.
