USVI training / learning / instruction

My wife and I are looking for a teacher(s) to help us learn to sail our new 40’ catamaran we are accepting in the Virgin Islands (St. Thomas) mid-February. We will be living aboard. Ideally we will get a few different perspectives. We would like training from both a professional teacher and experienced cruises.

Our backgrounds: I have skippered a group of 6-7 on various 40’ mono-hulls in Lake Superior once a year for a dozen years. I have taken ASA courses including catamaran but have not been in charge of a catamaran. My wife has sailed with me and her brother several times, but let’s call her a beginner.

Please let me know of anyone in the Virgin Islands that might be able to help.

Thank you

If you still want someone in mid/late March I will be finishing a cat delivery on St Thomas and would be happy to work with you.

I have the perfect guy for you! We learned from him on a Leopard 44 and he has been teaching for years. Captain R. J. https://instagram.com/capt_ridge?igshid=104108j74qr2b
He is currently living aboard and chartering a catamaran in the USVI.

Really an awesome dude!
