Re: Vcat44

Quite a climb from one helm to the other.

Also is that really the same boat? Blue Saga look a bit "fatter" than the renderings to my eyes.

Re: Vcat44

Probably early rendering. The same designer designed the ITA 14.99 slyder 47 and seawind 1370. Fingers crossed for a 42 from this guy.

Life seems strange sometimes.

The Owner of V44#1 came from Vietnam to unknown boatbuilders there in Croatia to buy there a cat designed by the same guy who designed Seawind 1370 (to be) built in Vietnam although V44 Blue Saga Owner could just buy a cat from established Vietnam-located Seawind company.

Was "new European design" a decision taking factor for him those days?

I believe the hull was built by Vcats in Poland then shipped over to croatia for fitout. The Vcats website hasnt been updated since 2017.

I think the owner is an American with Vietnamese background. Could have been a topic for his YouTube channel.

The French definitely has the design lead in this industry but quality constructions seems to be a commonality between a lot of the asian yards, im thinking hylas, outbound, passport, HH, Seawind.

Most of it comes down to furniture and finish though. The french yards can do a nice resin infused hull but the fit and finish requires too much expensive man hours.
