Wanting to install Mantus 85

My Leopard 46 needs a larger anchor...does anyone have experience installing a Mantus 85lb anchor on a Leopard 46? If so , did it fit naturally or with modifications?
Mantus did not have info or history on this particular question.

Thankyou for any assistance!

I don't have a direct answer to your question but since nobody has responded I'll give you this tip. Mantus has templates that you can print out here: https://www.mantusmarine.com/anchor-templates/
They print onto multiple sheets of 8.5x11" paper. You can cut them out and then assemble them into an actual size template which you can then use to cut a cardboard mockup, which you can then take up to your bow roller and see how it fits.

Re: Wanting to install Mantus 85

I talked with the folks at Mantus about this a couple of years ago. I was told that on the larger anchors, like your 85 pound one, the rollbar really was not necessary. By the way, we also have an 85 pound Mantus on our boat. I would call the Mantus folks and see what they have to say. They have been very helpful in the past.

Cheers!
