Who to finance with?

We are ready to make the jump to get a catamaran again after ours was taken out by Hurricane Ian.

What companies would you recommend for financing?

Thank you in advance for the advice

I can only recommend that you AVOID Loan specialist "Kimberly" from NewCoast.com We completed our purchase a year ago. Even Our Yacht broker will not recommend her. It was a very stressful experience and the majority of the transaction was by email. The majority of the material forwarded was cut and paste with minimal explanation. She was condescending and it was all about her completing multiple deals simultaneously. They still owe us money.

Every state has a banking commissioner although the titles vary. Notify them and they will open a case and pursue it for you. The loss of the ability to conduct business in a particular state is a strong incentive to act in a lawful manner. In my state 99% of cases are resolved within 30 days. Never allow a bank to abuse you.

Thanks Jim. The amount was nominal. The experience and the "specialist" was aggravating, especially since we've been around the block a few times and have owned and financed a number of assets. Nevertheless, Important issues/info preceding the Miami Boat Show

Re: Who to finance with?

I have used Trident Funding twice now and been very happy.

https://www.tridentfunding.com/

That said the person I had the most contact with Bob Dunford now has his own company, and I would not hesitate looking him up.
