You will LOVE it!! you will be like a kid in the candy store... it really is great seeing all those sailboats in one place. And Annapolis is such a lovely little town to walk around in. Plus tons of vendors to talk to.. stuff to buy.. classes.. seminars... plus don't forget broker cove. really great!

Where in Ohio are you? My husband is from the Cleveland area...

My dad and I will be there. I've 'lived' up the river from it for over a decade but this will be a first for my dad and I!

Planning on going with the Mrs Friday/Sat/Sun (if necessary). This will be my first time. Any hints on lodging? The hotels are nut$ and the B&B are full.

I live about 25 miles south...closer to Akron than Cleveland, but they're not that far apart.

Re: Who's Going To Annapolis 2015?

My wife and I are driving in from Texas and will be there Thursday and Friday if all goes well. Hotels are nuts and I should have reserved 3 months ago. We did get into Springhill Suites for four nights which was absolutely the best we could do at the time.

Neither of us have boats and this is a little vacation and fact finding trip for us. Will two days be enough to see the cruising cat section? What are some tips you guys can share with us? For example, I'm thinking driving to the show from our hotel may be a pain and thought Uber would be a good idea.

thanks!

Paul

Re: Who's Going To Annapolis 2015?

Lodging is a real problem. Bring a sholder bag for all the handouts and goodies you buy.

Re: Who's Going To Annapolis 2015?

If you can't find a regular hotel, try the extended stay. Last year we booked for a week because it was cheaper than 4 days.

Re: Who's Going To Annapolis 2015?

There's still some availability in the $100-$200/night range (for two people) on AirBnB in my neck of the roads (up the Severn) if you don't mind driving a few miles in, or riding a bike (it's a really easy ride - mostly flat with a dedicated bike trail). Good luck!
