Tom1340 - Excellent article. Thanks! Still not sure about the Lagoons - do you know if they have a 'bullet proof' hull? If so, what year did they start producing the bullet proof hull?

We are still trying evaluate 'the one' for us.

I am leaning toward the Bahia right now... best all arounder for the price... and I guess if you have time to sail to France FP will re-do your charter version into a owner/custom version - for a minimal cost. (What does 'minimal' mean?)

I think I will submit this to the FP folder to see what comes up.
