3HHF of GM front engine mount question

Hi.
Can anyone sneak a peek at their 3HM or GM? My engine had the front engine lifter held down by cylinder head nut (#8), but this seems inconsistent with the yanmar parts list and exploded assembly views. Can you let me know if it is indeed held down by the head nut, or if it is stacked on top with another nut as the Yanmar drawings suggest?
Thanks.

Dunno about the 3HM or GM but my 2GM20 has the front engine lifter stacked on top of the cylinder head nut and secured with another nut.

Awesome thanks! I found a few pictures on line that show the stack-up as you describe, which is consistent with the Yanmar parts list and assembly drawing. A previous owner or mechanic must have reassembled things differently.

Probably lost one of the nuts

By the way, welcome aboard CF.

Re: 3HHF of GM front engine mount question

Held by another nut. Recently ran into this when reinstalling the head on a friend's engine. It will work without the second nut, but on his, the fuel line bracket that bolts to the lifting bracket ended up being the thickness of the head on the head bolt too low and it wouldn't align. Some drawings are not clear but that is the way it comes: head bolt (stud), cinched down to prescribed torque, then the bracket, held in place by the nut.
