4JH57 to replace 4JH2E Yanmar

I've decided to replace my 4JH2E with the newer 4JH57. Can someone tell me if the footprint is close or identical?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Google is your friend. A quick Google found these pages-

and this-

I think they have got what you are asking for?

Basically from the pics it looks like-
4JH2E Mount centers are 420mm wide and 412.5mm front to rear. You could confirm this on your old engine.
4JH57 Mount centers are 470mm wide and 506mm front to rear

So I guess the answer is no.

The mounts themselves look like the same mount bolt to the bed spacing so are probably the same. You could confirm PNs from the Parts catalog though.

You might be able to do a couple of adapter plates, if you have the vertical space to allow on your mount height adjustments and the plate thickness.

Or glass up some new beds.

Good luck.

I had a friend that install a Beta Marine engine. They built him custom mounts and he didnt have to worry about the fit. Nice
