5411 and Kubota Z500 Parts ?

Can anyone brief me on at what point the Kubota Z500 and Universal 5411 parts diverge ? I understand exhaust manifold is unique Universal, and have already purchased new Westerbeke...but...

Kubota Z500 rebuild kits are plentiful, but Westerbeke says there is no "Rebuild Kit" for the Universal 5411.

Is the Kubota Intake manifold the same as the Universal 5411, so a Z500 intake gasket, or cylinder head and gasket, from a Kubota Z500 kit will fit the 5411 ? I've asked Westerbeke, they don't seem to know, or I was asking the wrong person.

Here's a list of Kubota parts used in a 5411 overhaul, if that will help.

"I sourced all the parts from Genesee Mechanical Service (Bill) in Waukesha, WI. The 5411 diesel was used in Kabota tractors for several years. All parts to overhaul one of these motors are available through Kabota dealers. The Universal 5411 motor service manual is still available on line for free. You can access exploded engine diagrams with part numbers on the Kabota web site under "small tractors" "Z-500" motor. The following is a list of parts and Kabota P/N's that I needed for my overhaul. Note that I could get brand new Kabota OEM injectors and injector pump with factory warranty for less than local diesel service shop charges for rebuilding my old ones. I could not locate any new 0.020 over sized pistons as manual indicates can be used. I had to go the cylinder sleeve replacement option and as my old pistins are within spec. I plan to re use them."

I own an M25, and have found that everything I have needed thus far is available from Kubota for a small fraction of the Westerbeke price.

I'm pretty sure the only unique part on the engine itself is the exhaust manifold. Everything else is pure tractor. Of course the water pump">raw water pump and transmission are Marine parts too, but they're available from other sources way cheaper than Universal/Westerbeke.
Part of Kubotas deal with Universal is Kubota is not allowed to sell parts for a Universal, even though they are the same exact parts. If you walk up to a Kubota parts counter and tell them you're shopping for a Universal, they won't talk to you. Yell them you're shopping for a B1500 tractor and they'll be more than happy to help you. They need the tractor number to search (B5100) and may get suspicious of you only have the engine number. Anybody looking for tractor parts is going to know what model tractor they're for. The tractor parts are as low as 1/10 the Universal prices. I needed injector nozzles for my 5411, they were $401 each from Universal and $71 each at the local Kube shop. I ended up getting a pair for $40 each from an eBay tractor parts place. Same parts, just without the Universal packaging. That's a real expensive label on the Universal box.
For anyone looking for parts for the M25 series, that's the B6200 tractor.

THANKS to you both, exactly the info I was looking for ! I suspected the exhaust manifold and water pump were the only unique parts, but just wanted to be sure before talking to my local country-boy Kubota tractor parts dealer.

Interesting, CRITICAL info about knowing tractor number, because this guy wanted engine serial number, didn't ask for tractor number.

For parts diagrams, try these sites. Looks like Kubota is restricting access to the parts diagrams, but there are ways around it.
If you are in the US and the you can't get into the US, try a VPN/Proxy to change your location to one of the others.
