6V92 head dimensions

Being I am nowhere near my boat, I was wondering if anyone can measure the depth of a 6V92 head they may have sitting around. I am trying to find a machine shop to surface them, but most cannot do a pass greater than 8" or so. One would think you could get this info from the Internet readily, but several hours into it I give up. Tried to find dimensions for a valve cover as well. Thinking someone on eBay would have a pic of it next to a tape measure or something. Nope. I would imagine a 8V92 would be the same depth. Reason is that I am trying to schedule a shop so on my next trip to FL to work on the boat, I will be on their schedule and get them turned around quickly being I am only there a week at a time.

Call your local Detroit Diesel Distributor......they can tell you in about 30 seconds. Also could sell you a recon head off the shelf....
