I'm not going to be changing but once a year with the low hours I'll be putting on, the price difference is negligible for me, mostly the accessibility Typically aftermarket filters are easier to source - Thankfully I found a Volvo Penta dealer on the island that has stock of the oil, fuel, gearbox filters.
