Air intake silencer/filter for Yanmar 4JHE

Hi everyone,
My nextgen generator has a neat air filter/silencer unit which I imagine quiets it down somewhat. It's made by Donaldson.

This got me thinking that in my quest to quiet my Yanmar 4JHE even further that a similar unit would be helpful. Yanmar doesn't make anything but the stock metal housing with mesh filter inside directly attached to intake pipe. I am sure there is no silencing at all.

Anyone out there try an aftermarket filter? I would go ahead and buy a donaldson one to try like this one:

but I don't see an attachment for the hose for blow-by from my crankcase cover so it may not work?

Anyone with ideas? Anyone else try something like this on a JH?

Duralite looks like air cleaners. Silencers are usually a series of compartments with sound absorbing material. Whatever you come up with, don't reduce the air flow to the engine. I have Detroit twins and the silencers are filled with compressed cotton.
